So this past week I did a post with Boutique Onze as their guest blogger! You can find the post here! :)

I did the shoot at this architecture museum in Montreal and surprisingly it was a great place to go! We got so many nice shots in so little time. It was a great time and I'm looking forward to using my new camera more :)

Hope you enjoyed the post,

The Face Shop: What I Bought

Saturday, July 19, 2014

(A post that is not photography related... :P)

Wanted to make a quick post about what I bought from The Face Shop. Just recently, the Face Shop opened a store in Montreal's Eaton Centre. After checking out the store with Diana, I fell in love and knew that I would go back to buy some products. So I came back today after doing another photoshoot! Unfortunately, I don't have the most money to splurge right now, so I just got myself two products that I had been eyeing the first time around.

Item 1: Hand & Body Cream ~ Gold Kiwi ($5)

This isn't actually the first time I owned this item. For last Christmas, Diana actually gave me the same hand and body cream but in Green Apple instead. It was my go-to lotion last year and helped with dry hands and arms especially during the winter. So I am looking forward to trying out this scent! I definitely like it better than the strawberry scent.

Item 2: Pastel Cushion Blusher ~ Plum ($9)

One of the things I like most about this blush (minus actually trying it out) is the fact that it comes in adorable packaging. I am a sucker for good packaging. It also is a nice shade, and since I do have a light complexion, I didn't want to get something too dark or obvious. What I am wary about though is the amount of sparkles in the blush. You can't see it in this photo or on the site, but there's definitely a significant amount of sparkle when you look at the blush. If I do a review, I'll try to use my DSLR to capture the sparkle in the blush. Out of the 5 shades available, 4/5 seem to have some sparkle. Only Pink Cushion doesn't seem to have any (or very little comparatively).

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this post!

OOTD: Linen Paisley

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

This is the last part of the outfits I did with Rita. Since it was so hot outside during the time of the photoshoot, I decided to stop by Jean Talon market. This was definitely my favourite dress on Rita. Anyways, I hope you been enjoying the outfits :).

Le Bolduc Dress from Boutique Onze
White Scrunchy from Ardene

OOTD: The Little Owl Necklace

Saturday, July 12, 2014

For this ootd we were at Parc Jarry in Montreal. It was much larger than we anticipated and since it was so warm out, we had a bit of difficulty navigating and having the energy to do the shoot. We also saw an outdoor swimming pool which would've been amazing if we had our bathing suits. But we had a fun time nevertheless. Exploring Montreal is always a treat! (Plus I did come back to the outdoor swimming pool and it was great! [also free!])

In terms of the outfit, I found this dress to be super dainty and Rita liked it a lot as well :). We added the owl necklace because who doesn't have an affinity for cute owls? And to top it off, Rita was wearing a cute bow as well. I think I might start to purchase more random accessories from Ardene. 4 items for 10$ is a pretty good deal.

Unboxing: Memebox - Luckybox #5

Saturday, July 5, 2014

Subscription: Memebox
Box: Luckybox #5
Price: $23 US
Website: www.memebox.com

Review

This is the unboxing of my first Memebox! If you are not familiar, Memebox is a Korean skincare and cosmetics subscription service. It's not reoccurring so you have to order the Memebox of your choice whenever it comes out. I have been watching all of the Memebox unboxing videos by Coffee Break with Dani on Youtube for the past few months and finally decided to bite the bullet. The Luckybox is a compilation of all the best products from previous Memeboxes.

Leaders Insolution Mask Sheet - BIO Medi-curing Mask - Aqua Dressing: I have not yet used this face mask so if you would like a review once I do, please let me know!

Miguhara B.P. Cream: Apparently this acts as a B.B. Cream as well as a primer. However, I have acne and acne scars so using it alone as a B.B. Cream does not work for me. I do not see it covering my blemishes at all. So I can only use it as a primer. I haven't used it more than once so I cannot give a proper review for it as of yet.

Dr.G BIO-RTx Mentor Cream - Bio-RTx Mentor Cream 7: I have been using this cream every night after cleansing and toning. It's thick so it's more suited for the night time. My version is for damaged skin, which works well for me because I do have troubled skin. It helps improve skin that is easily irritated and makes it less red. It also help fixes collapsed skin barriers. I would have to finish the entire container to see if it vastly improve my skin condition.

LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence: I like this product because it is fun to use with the dropper. However, I have been breaking out more recently so I'm unsure if this oil is the cause or another product from the box. I use this at night after I cleanse and tone. Then I apply the Bio-RTx afterwards. It's supposed to help with trouble skin by subduing acne and healing the skin. It also supposed to brighten the skin up afterwards.

Tonymoly Delight Tony Tint #2 Red: When I apply this lip tint, it immediately cools on my lips. However, I have yet to master the fading technique that Korean girls sport with their lip tints. I can tell you for sure though that it sets really quickly and is difficult to remove. So if you are looking for a product that doesn't budge, you should look into this lip tint.

Dear by Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream: This is a fun moisturizer I apply every morning after cleansing and toning. When you touch the cream and lift your finger, the effect is similar to cheese because it stretches out like a sticky substance. It has a light scent which I really like and the cream is lightweight as well.

Dr. Jart V7 Eye Serum: I am so glad to own my very first eye cream! This is a full size product. I have been applying this on every night after I'm done my night regimen. I hope that the effects will be beneficial in the long run.

O& Soap Berry Bubble Cleanser: I have not yet used this product either because I want to finish up all my current cleansers before opening a new one. If you would like a future review, please let me know!

Overall, I am super satisfied and love the products! For only $23, I think it's an amazing deal. I have ordered three more Memeboxes so I can't wait for those to arrive! If you would like an in-depth interview for any of the products, please comment below!
